Language Courses Abroad
Learn and experience a language in the country where it is spoken. CICD partners with language schools on 5 continents who have an ideal nationality mix with one third of their students from Latin America, Europe and Asia. Your study abroad program will be a genuine intercultural experience!
** Eligibility and visa requirements, vary widely between countries, and are known to change without notice depending upon the whims of the respective countries' governments. Participants are expected to inform themselves of current visa and other requirements. LANGUAGE LEVELSA language level test (oral and/or written) is held at the beginning of each course to determine the appropriate course level for each individual. Each school is offering at least 3 levels: beginners, intermediate and advanced. LANGUAGE CLASSESClass size is limited to 10 students maximum to ensure optimal results in each course. The small size of the group allows for an intensive exchange between students and instructors, and allows for flexibility with the curriculum and topic. Language instruction takes place Monday to Friday mornings only for standard course (15 to 20 lessons per week) and some afternoons for Intensive courses (more than 25 lessons per week). In most countries, schools are offering standard, intensive, private, special course (Business, Tourism, Culture, Cooking, Sport…). To ensure effective learning, classes are always held in the native language of the country of destination. Participants receive a language certificate upon completion of the language course. INSTRUCTORSAll instructors are native speakers and experienced in teaching foreigners. Instructors typically speak another foreign language such as English or German or have lived abroad. EXTRA ACTIVITIESMost schools will offer free and paid extra activities during the language course (generally in the afternoons and week-ends). Half a day or full day excursions are also very popular to discover the beauties of the country of destination. ACCOMMODATIONHomestays are very popular and usually the best way to be introduced to the way of life in your destination country. (various options are offered: single or double room, self catering or half board basis). For more independent and or elder students, student residences, shared flats and houses are also offered. Most of our partners offer housing services together with their internship programs. FEESPlease check with us now for a fee quotation by completing our online inquiry form. (There is no charge to inquire online or by phone.) Please note that fees are subject to change due to language school and/or accommodation-related costs as well as fluctuations in visa fees, currency exchange rates and other factors beyond CICD's control.
